The gameplay in Horizon Zero Dawn takes place in an open world. The player takes on the role of Aloy - a young, stubborn and warlike girl who wants to explore the secrets of the old civilization while trying to learn about her own origins. However, not everything on the planet has regressed - the superior role in the environment has been taken by machines, which in unexplained circumstances have evolved into intelligent "animals".
Our civilization has fallen, and people unaware of their roots gather in tribes inhabiting the wilderness of the new world. The action of HZD takes place in a time when mankind's best years are long behind us. The item is a work of Dutch studio Guerrilla Games, known primarily from the Killzone series of shooters. The production debuted as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, but after more than three years it was released on PC (in the Complete Edition with Frozen Wilds add-on). Horizon Zero Dawn is an action game with TPP view, RPG elements and open world, set in a distant post-apocalyptic future, in which the world is overrun by mechanical creatures.
